Teen Jiu-Jitsu in Queen Creek.
Juniors & Teens BJJ program for ages 10–15 in Queen Creek, AZ. Serious technique, controlled sparring, tournament prep available, and the kind of discipline that shows up in grades and confidence.
Built for Teenagers, Not Little Kids
Teenagers face a unique set of pressures — social, academic, physical. Our Juniors program channels that energy into something productive. Training is serious, the curriculum matches adult-level technique depth, and tournament preparation is available for those who want it. The discipline built here shows up in grades and confidence alike.
What Teens Learn
Our Juniors program goes beyond basic positions. Students learn advanced submissions, guard passing systems, takedowns, and competition strategy. They also develop leadership by mentoring younger students.
- Technique depth matching adult curriculum
- Controlled sparring every session
- Tournament prep for those who want it
- Leadership skills built through mentoring younger students
- Physical outlet that builds rather than burns out
The Anti-'Lame' Factor
Most of our teen students thought martial arts was 'lame' before their first class. Once they realize BJJ isn't choreographed kata or board breaking — it's live problem-solving against a resisting partner — the engagement flips. The challenge is real, the feedback is immediate, and the social bonds are strong.
Coaching Staff
Teen classes are coached by our black belt professors and experienced brown/purple belt instructors. The student-to-coach ratio allows for individual attention and technique correction. Coaches push teens to improve while maintaining a safe, respectful training environment.
When to train.
Real results.
"The kids program here changed my son's life. He was getting bullied at school — within two months of training, the bullying stopped completely. Not because he fought back, but because he carries himself differently. That confidence is real."
"We drive from Johnson Ranch three times a week and it's worth every minute. The coaches know each kid by name. The structure is impressive — my 6-year-old and 10-year-old are both thriving in their age groups."
